Army-like boots in the rain

Where: Salame st., south Tel-Aviv

Who: Anonymous. We enjoyed a short chat but she preferred not to identify.

Me: who’s the brand behind the shoes you are wearing?

She: oh, I don’t know… I bought them about 10 years ago in Basel st. in Tel-Aviv.

The rain continued. Sometimes metal studs still carry their statement among its drops.

I wish the rain could wash away violence.
